Control posting on a Fund

Hi,

Our business wants to stop using the freeze flag on the Fund master. Instead they want to restrict (allow or reject) postings based on whether the posting date falls in between the start and end date of the fund duration.

Is this something that can be done by a new derivation rule?

Please advise.

What do you mean by fund duration? Are you talking about Valid from and Valid to dates in fund master?

Hi,

Actually, there is nothing to be done: if the posting is not in the validity period of the fund, it will be stopped automatically by the system design.

Hi,

I am confused. Exactly you do not have to do anything. Any posting to a fund outside its validity dates wil automatically rejected by the system.
