I have a trading partner that has an inbound request into PI. How do we ensure access to SRM and ECC.
The trading partner is making an ibound call with a user and pwd via SM59 into PI and then we want to allow them to access SRM and ECC.
What are some ways to allow this access? SM59, WS BAPI?
Thanks

The normal way is to add a user for this customer in PI, let the customer e.g. connect to PI via HTTP, where he gives his user/pwd. The connections from PI to SRM and ECC are usually maintained in PI itself, depending how PI connects (.e.g. for RFC, create an RFC receiver channel). These connections use a global user, not the customer user, because they are used for all scenarios, not just one.
