Vendor consignment in sales process.

Hi

I have been told that it is not possible to sell directly from vendor consignment. Instead I should use stock determination in order to pick from the vendor consignment stock.

In this setup I was told not to use a sales item category with special stock 'K' because then we are asked to enter the vendor number on the delivery which we can't do.

My question is: if special stock 'K' should not be used in the item category when i try to sell directly from vendor consignment stock, when should it in fact be used?

Hi

The vendor consignment sales process is used in retail scenarion which is known as Rack jobber process
