Hi,
My customer need to checks whether the sales order (spare parts delivery) is covered by the warranty at the billing request.
How can we do this ?
Regards,
Hi,
based on your info, my suggestion is
for each warrenty contract, you can create a sales contract in SAP, which has valid from and valid to fields. the validation period represents your warrenty period. you create sales orders with reference to this contract. if the warrenty is expired already, you can't create the sales order in the first place.
Thanks!

Hi,
There is a standard SAP functionality to manage the warranties process. See help.sap.com:
http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/cb/e8d36244304940bb284e55d6a500dc/frameset.htm
You can find this in the application menu under SAP Menu->Logistics->Customer Service->Service Agreements-> Warranties
Alternatively if you just want to control pricing, you could create a 100% discount condition in SD and develop a requirement which checks the warranty condition of the object (functional location, equipment...) under warranty.
Hope this helps,
Sylvan
