What are the approximate timelines required for an SAP MDM implementation ( including Quick scan, data cleansing)

Depends on various factors specially scope - i mean number of masters, different systems involved, number of interfaces, volume of data - will define the cleansing process and many more. Typically it takes around 6 months to 10 months.

Hi,

In addition to number of repositories, Interface & extraction program, it also depends upon the level of customization. I means to say if your requirement can be fulfilled using standard content and some what custom development then it is simple and won;t take much time. but if you have some good customization requirement like creating custom dynpro application, custom portal iviews, Data enrichment by some other provider, then it may take some good amount of time.

For total estimate of MDM implementation, you should count in total number of custom interfaces, extraction programs and enhancements and and portal/Java development in addition to MDM efforts.
