Smartforms - formatting_error when form is empty - Why ?

Hello,

I created a smartforms empty(for test), also the interface between print program and forms is empty.

When the system return from FM - smartforms , the sy-subrc = 1. (= Formatting error)

Why ? Do you have any idea ?

Hi,

Please check forum before posting. However " Formatting Error" generally occurs when u use table or templates in urs window and if width or height of Table or templates mismatch with the height of the window then it might occurs.

Check your style name in 'Form Attributes' whether before the style name if you have any space over there then please remove it.

Use transaction SFTRACE to activate break-point on this error (then debug it a little bit to see where the error comes from)
