How to delete a "Software Component Version" in the Integration Builder

Hi gurus:

How could I delete a "Software Component Version" into a "Software Component" in the Integration Builder?

I am using SAP XI 3.0.

Hi Alejandro,

The weblog was written in 2005 when PI was not even there.

I think it works in XI 3.0 just fine.

Did you give it a try?

Open the software component version.

Menu > software Component version> Delete

Alejandro,

Make sure that you delete all the objects under SWCV and activate it from change list.

Then expand SWC, highlight on SWCV and press Ctrl + D.

On Right Hand side

From the menu bar

Go to Software Component Version

Click that. You should be able to see the

Delete the software component

What it Praveen said is when you open the SCW at te right you can see another windows and you can select the menu option.

Hello Alejandro,

Small hunch, First check out which Java version you are using. If you are using the more than 1.4 version on windows vista machine then few of the option won't appear on the menu option. Please tell me which java verison (JDK) you are using?

Hi,

You mean that option is not there or it is greyed.

If greyed out , then check if you have sufficient access to delete it .Check with your admin/Basis if he can do that for you.Also is that SWC is under inactive objects in changes list?activate and try if thats the case.

Do you want to delete from SLD also.
