Change Login Screen of the Portal

is there a way to change the appearance of the login screen of the portal (change the image etc..)

You should check J2EE Engine settings to server. NWDS->Window->Preferences->J2EE->SAP J2EE Engine. Checkbox with SAP J2EE engine is installed on remote host option should be hover.

Hello,

If you have .par file ready to deploy to server. System Administration->Support->Portal Runtime->Administration Console-> define par file location from your local workstation than upload and log off from portal.

I have worked through these documents, too. However, I am facing issues deploying the PAR file to the server. Can you explain how that works?

I have tried it using Export -> PAR file -> Deploy but I keep receiving the error:

Operation failed: Please make sure the server 'SERVERNAME' is running or check the log (sap-plugin.log) for more detail

The server is up and running...

Any ideas?
