Folder option is mainly used to protect the contents of data tobe displayed
Like
Headers ( At start of table / At page break etc)
Footers (At end of table / At page break etc)
According to your client requirement .
You ca also protect the by using the folder node ..
You can find different forums in folder options

Hi,
Folder node is used for Page protection.
For Ex: in a table you 3 line types and you have 10 rows.
If you want to page protect all the 3 lines types, that means printing all the 3 line types in a page without printing in the next page if it is at the end of the page.
By creating a folder and placing all the Line types in the folder and clicking page protection option, then if even is a line is at the end of page, then the whole set of line types which are in the folder will be printed in the next page.

we use this FOLDER option for PAGE PROTECTION. If we want to group a set of fields together, we can use folders.
