Application link not opening

Hi All,

We have migrated one of the application from MI 2.5 to NM 7.1. It is JSP application.

The application gets downloaded to the client. The link is visible. But when we click the link, it does hang the dynpro client. Nothing appears. We tried opening the application by using http://localhost:4444/<application name>/start in the browser. It opens and works perfectly. But when we close the application, the web dynpro client is still in waiting state. We have to close it forcefully from task manager. If we are going again to start it by clicking the icon, it gives a weird error.

Connection closed.

Server returned exception:

java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect.

We have to again forcefully disconnect by double clicking startmonitor.bat.

Now again when we open it, the link does open and the application as well perfectly. Any guess?

Note: The client version is NM 7.1 SP 3 P09.

Hi,

if you are using a JSP app - why are yu using the WD client? You should use the JSP client instead?

Hi,

Are you using SP03 Patch 09 or did you mean SP09 Patch 03? In case you are using SP03 then please upgrade to the latest SP and latest patch and re-test it.

Thanks for your inputs.

Ours is a JSP application migrated to 7.1.

The issue is resolved now..actually we were using the NWM Client 7.11 SP03; Now we have installed the NM7.10 SP09 client & the application link is opening properly.

I suppose theres some issue with the 7.11 SP03 version..
