Open java via internet explorer

Dear All,

l have installed SAP ECC 6.0 with Oracle 10 and java.

I checked via SMICM ICM status running and green.

Then I check ICM

ABAP Server operational = TRUE

J2EE Server configured = TRUE

J2EE HTTP port = 50000

J2EE HTTPS port = 50001

J2EE Server operational = TRUE

Default root access handler = J2EE

URL Prefix Table loaded = TRUE

All is Ok .

My server hostname is sapides.

Now I want to access SAP via Java portel.

How I will open via internet expolrer . what command i should type in Internet Explorer So that i ask java user ID and Password.

You can simply access your Java stack using http://<hostname>:50000 string in IE.

e.g to access SLD

http://<hostname>:50000/sld

Other mechanisms are there to access SAP system using SSO wih EP, WebDynpro , SAP iviews in Portal.

thanks now I am able to logon .

But when I am login in User management

http://sapides:50000/useradmin/index.jsp

Above blank link open . Noting is comming.

why it is not comming

Hi,

Which version of IE u r using ? Have you tried to open the same link using other browser ?

I hope you are using j2ee_admin user to get access .
