Unit of measure for material

We order cables in a roll, but we sell it in meters, 1 roll contains 300 meters, where do i make the setting that defines that a roll is equal to 300 meter. You do goods receipt for the Roll to receive it in the plant, but whjen you sell it from the plant, it must deduct as meters.

Hi Chariold,

Go to MM02 --> Select Basic data page --> Click at "Additional Data" Tab (Left Upper side) ---> Choose "Unit of measure" tab

Maintain the required entry

Hello

You can maintain it in the material master the unit of conversion , the basic unit of measurement is one , the sales unit diffrerent

Maintain alternate UOM in the mat.master with its conversion with the basic UOM.
