Hi all,
Is there a way to cif only unrestricted stock into APO. I find now both restricted and unrestricted inventories are cifed.
Appreciate your help
Dear Vardev,
For getting stocks in APO there has to be an stock integration model active. There is no restriction of a stock category.
The only way by which you can restrict is by writing a small code in the R/3 outbound Stock CIF exit. Ask your abaper to write a code to identify the specific category stock & delete the CIF queue . this will solve your issue.
Hope this helps you

Hi Vardev,
Take the steps to CIF only unrestriced stocks to APO.
1. SPRO ->APO -> SCP -> SNP -> Maintain Category Groups
2. Create your own category group for unrestricted use stock
3. Assign category CC to the category group
4. In Location Master -> Tab SNP, assign the category group for stock.

Vardev
Restricted stock such as blocked stock / stock under inspection will have separate stock categories. If your requirement is to consider only unrestricted stock in planning then you can always CIF the stock of all categories (restricted / unrestricted). Then you can manipulate the stock category group CI (SPRO). In this category group you should assign only the unrestricted stock category . That way only unrestricted stock will be considered by planning.
Thanks
