In your business system (ECC, SRM, whatever) go to SM59 and create the SAPSLDAPI TCP/IP RFC. Point it at the Jco Program you set up in your SLD system. Also make sure your SLD_UC RFC is pointing to the same host (don't change the registered server program from SLD_UC as this RFC runs natively when the SLD starts up). Use Registered Server Program setting and host name of your XI system. Then rerun your SLDCHECK.

HI Prabakar,

the Business System SM59 destinations LCRSAPRFC & SAPSLDAPI

should have the Program IDs

SAPSLDAPI _UNICODE.

LCRSAPRFC_UNICODE

See the online help for connecting Biusiness Systems

Hi,

You can create the entires manually , this are normally the post installation steps which needs to be carried out by the installation team.

In Business System(ECC) Create 2 rfc destiamtions in SM59 destinations LCRSAPRFC & SAPSLDAPI od type TCP/IP type.

the program id will be

SAPSLDAPI _< sis id >.

LCRSAPRFC_< sis id > 3 letters you can get it from SAP logon pad

this proram ids needs to be created in visual admin or NWA other wise your connection test will not work.

Make the required entries in SLDAPICUST t-code.

Maintain the configuration required in SXMB_ADM

Sunil.

Hi Prabhakar,

the SM59 (type T) destinations need to be created in the Business System.

For connecting Business systems the Program ID should be -

for Unicode Business Systems

LCRSAPRFC_UNICODE

SAPSLDAPI_NUNICODE

for non Unicode Business Systems

LCRSAPRFC_NONUNICODE

SAPSLDAPI_NONUNICODE

There should be corresponding entries on the XI/PI Java Engine

The Configuration Guide has a section on connecting Business Systems for ABAP Proxy use.

Hi Prabhakar,

yes you have to create the SM59 destinations in your Business System.

Try folllowing section -

8 Connecting Business Systems with an Integration Engine to the Central Integration Server

[XI Configuration Guide|http://service.sap.com/nw04installation]

scroll down page

-> SAP XI

The guide is for XI 3.0 but this section is good for subsequent releases.

Kenny

Hi,

Follow this steps:

1.- Check SLDAPICUST and set correctly.

2.- Go to SM59 TA and check LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI destinations.

3.- Check that user PIRWBUSER exist in ECC.

4.- Go to SXMB_ADM ->Integration Engine Configuratio Data -> Role of Business System must be Application Server.

5.- TA SLDCHECK.

Best regards

Did you activate ABAP Proxy ? If not, have a look at /people/vijaya.kumari2/blog/2006/01/26/how-do-you-activate-abap-proxies .

Hi Prabhakar,

the warning

"Query String Not Allowed"

also add a entry for the J2EE port in tcode SLDAPICUST

u will find the port in the URL of the home page ( normally like 50XXX)

this is because the proxy connectivity is not properly set up between ECC and PI

run tcode SLDCHECK on ECC ..it should not give any red messages

also run report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_ADDRESS to check the connectivity

i hope u have followed all the steps of connectivity between the PI and ECC that needs to be done in case of proxy

u can also serach on forum as this is a coomon error

Hi Tarang,

I checked with the transacation SLDCHECK it is sowing following messages.

TEST LCR Connection:

1.RFC destination SAPSLDAPI does not exist.

2.Connection to SLD does not work

(Check SLD function and configuration)

Access to the XI Profile:

RFC Destination LCRSAPRFC does not exist.

I checked the t code SPROXY_CHECK_IFR_ADD:

but it is sowing SPROXY_CHECK_IFR_ADD does not exist.

hi prabhakar,

this 2 RFCS LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI should be avaible by default in the TCP/IP connections

if not avaiable ...u have to create the same..it requires several details..may be u can ask the basis guys to look into this

Also one type H rfc should be created in ECC pointing to XI and one in type H rfc in XI point ing to ECC
