Recipe Mgmt: Calculation of total output quantity - not happening

Recipe mgmt:

hi

i m trying to create a recipe with dep formula in RMWB and finding below errors in the system.

background :

1. created new recipe and entered basic data

2. entered process data in process tab having only ONE stage and operations

3. selected, stage- dependant formula to enter the inputs items (material, qty and UOM) in Input/output tab, followed by entering the output material.

now the system has to calculate the output quantity with base UOM or as per UOM mentioned.

QUESTION 1: but my system is not at all calculating ? and gives the field readonly mode.

QUESTION 2: also, suppose, if i have two stages and enter the intermediate created through "create stream" button, i m not able to use it in stage 2 as input, as the button still shows "create stream", rather than "create/ use stream"

QUESTION 1: is solved:

For calculation to happen: following config to be maintained

in PP-PI : Master data - recipe mgmt - formula - define and assign values to environmental parameters

in that maintain

FRML_DEF_UNIT_FLOAT_STORE entry with default value as KG or LB..

which is a must...
