ASSIGN SHIPPING POINT TO PLANT (OVXC)

Hi,

I have created a new plant and a new shipping point. Now I need to assign this shipping point to my new plant. The problem is that when I execute transaction: OVXC It shows several plants and its assigned shipping points but I can't see my new plant, so I can't assign the new shipping point.

How should I proceed?

check if you have done following-

Sales Organization to Company Code(OVX3)

Distribution Channel to Sales Organization(OVXK)

Division to SO(OVXA)

Set up Sales Area(OVXG)

Sales Office to Sales Area(OVXM)

Sales Group to Sales Office(OVXJ)

SO- Distribution Channel- Plant(OVX6)

Sales Area to CCA(OVFL)

Purchasing Organization to CC(OX01)

Purchasing Organization to Plant(OX17)

Standard PO to Plant(OMKI)

Shipping Point to Plant(OVXC)

I was missing transaction OVX3.

1) Assign Plant to Company Code in ox18

2) Assign Plant to Sales Org. and Dist.Chanl in ovx6

3) Assign Shipping Point to Plant in ovxc

4) Assign Shipping Point for the combination of Shipping Condition, Loading Group and Plant in OVL2

5) Assign storage location for the combination of Shipping Point and Plant in OVL3

thanks for you response, but after assigning Plant to Company Code, I still get the same error. Moreover I can't ssign Plant to Sales Org. and Dist.Chanl in ovx6, because I can't see my new Plant.

I don't know what i am missing.

Can you show us your organization structure like how you are mapping your organizational element in SPRO.

Please also mention till this time what you have already assigned.

Hi,

controlling area 1000. I have assigned company code 3000 to this controlling area. Then I have create plant 3000 and I have assigned this plant to my company code 3000. I have also define storage location 3000 and it is assigned to plant 3000.

I hope this information will help.
