Steps for creating new tax code

Hi,

Can u plz give the detail steps for creating new tax codes for sales how to assign % of tax to that tax code like 4% 8% etc. and with excise and without excise.

Hi,

Goto the Transaction code FTXP and enter the COUNTRY KEY for which you want to create a new TAX CODE

then it will ask to enter the Tax code , enter the required code and Hit Enter key, then it will ask to Maintain the details if the Tax code is not maintained

Maintain the

DESCRIPTION

TAX TYPE as A for Sales

In the next screen maintain the Tax percentage for your Accounting key ( for example MWS)

Hi Zafar,

Go to T-code FTXP and there you can create your tax code with your reuired percentage.

steps:-

Give your country --> On next screen two field were there

Country Key

Tax Code

In tax code give any two digit like 1A and enter --> it will show you little pop screen of propertis --> give the required details --> Like Tax type --> Enter

here you can give your percentage --> after giving --> click at Tax account > give your chart of account> and there you can give your Tax G/L account
