Hi Team,
We are observing some degradation in the performance of EBP system (BBPCRM 3.0) at client side. System is taking around half an hour just to create a cart and add few items in EBP portal.
Quick background about the scenario is u2013
1) All dialog processes have been occupied by Batch user EBPBATCH.
2) Function module BBP_VENDOR_GET_UPDATE becomes active in the system for very long time ( 15 hours ).
3) This FM in turn triggers the background job ARFC:0A1E140C*. The corresponding program to this report is u2018RSARFCSEu2019. The background job essentially executes the ARFC as a background job. This report is scheduled to run in the background. This job runs for long time ( 15 hours )
4) Background job u2018EBP CLEAN AND GET STATUSu2019 is running since long time ( around 20 hours ).Normally this job completes within few minutes but when FM u201CBBP_VENDOR_GET_UPDATEu201D is active it runs for the same time period i.e. 15 hours.
The whole situation is not periodic and occurs randomly and it occurred around two to three times in last two weeks. It is affecting system performance.
Please revert back to my id only if anyone of you have idea about u2013
1) What is the function module BBP_VENDOR_GET_UPDATE and how it gets triggered?
2) how is background job EBP CLEAN AND GET STATUS related to Function Module BBP_VENDOR_GET_UPDATE by any means?
3) Why ARFC* jobs are running for very long time?
Thanks,
Ambarish
Hi Ambarish,
You may have better luck with your scenario by posting to a different forum, such as SRM General. This forum is focused on the CRM Interaction Center.
Sincerely,
Glenn
