Splitting a string in Visual Composer

How can I split a string in Visual Composer 7.1.1

I have a full name field and I have to split it to get first and last names that get passed to a data service.

I have checked the Text Functions but didn't find any.

Any Ideas?

Hi Subba,

would it not be easier to make a Melting-Group and insert two Input fields (one for the first and one for the last name?)

I don't know how you could look for the "space" character that seperate the first and last name and than delete the string left or right from this.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry I didn't mention it, the full name is coming out of another web service.

Anyways, I have adjusted the BAPI and we don't have to do it anymore.

May be they will come up with Substring or similar function in the future versions.
