Hi,

Perform below mentioned diagnosis.

-> execute RSTPTEST report in SE38. It will check problem with TRANS directory, TP tool, RFC destinantions. if it reported any error thee may be a problem with tp. Tp with latest patch level is recommended.

->Check TP Alert log and TP sys log to get more information about the possible cause.

-> Kill running TP at OS level.

-> Go to STMS -> SID Queue. Goto -> Import Monitor

Here you will find that entry having Truck Icon with it. Delete that entry.

-> Import Transort Request Again.

Also Refer this [useful Thread|;, which is showing the same symptom.

If the Background job RDD* are having problems then Try to re-schedule the job in QUA using the program RDDNEWPP on se38.

Also refer those useful SAP Notes which are already suggested by Rajesh.

Check if there is already an automatic TMS* job scheduled. If yes, remove it from scheduling and re-import will be successful.

Hi Prakash,

You can check in SM37

a) Log on as the DDIC user to client 000.

b) Call transaction SM37.

c) Choose the selections:

Job name: RDD*

User: DDIC

Selection date: leave these fields empty

Only jobs with the status 'Active'.

d) For the resulting list, check the job status for each entry. You will find this function under the option "Job".

e) If you find a job that does not run even though it is displayed as "Active" in the status, reset this job to "Terminated" as suggested.

Fore more information refer SAP [Note 71353 - Transports hang during background steps|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/71353]

You should update your TP and Kernel...

It's a known problem and Program Error. You can reffer the below SAP note which has suggested upgrading TP and Kernel..

[Note 337516 - tp/tms: import for request .. already running|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/337516]

Hi Rajesh

I checked the Job name=RDD* with DDIC user, I didn't find any active job. When I check the SAP Note-337516, it gives information that the error is corrected as of the 4.6D tp of version 305.12.13 but we are having tp version 305.13.23 in our environment.

Please suggest what would be the cause for the error message?

Regards

Prakash
