Passing Demand to Materials Underneath the BOM

Hi Guys,

Letz say we have a BOM for material A which has B,C and D as its components. What we would like to do is when a sales order comes in for A we want to pass the requirement to B,C and D but not create a Planned or purchase order for A. Please let me know how this is done.

Hi,

Make sure that the PDS/PPM is transferred to APO for this BOM/Prod Version combination. When prod A has a Sales Order, its dependent demand gets passed on B,C & D, when you do a SNP planning (PDS is explored and dependent demand is passed on to its components).
