Dear Experts
I created a model connecting a Map Flash Component (the downloadable Europe map) input to Table and the output to a Form with input field:
The Table is filled with data from a BI query and its toolbar is equipped with a "Submit" event raising Button.
The semplified flow is the following:
BI Query --> Table --> Map Flash Component --> Form
The problem is that the Map Component is not reacting in any way with the rest of the model:
- No coutry get colorr
- Clicking on one country the form is not valorized.
The Flash component itself is working fine: It is visible, the tooltips ar showing at mouse roll-on and at mouse click the country is hilighted.
I tried also with a Gauge and Radar components and the same it seems that there is no interaction between flash components and the rest of the model.
Thank you in advance
Massimiliano
Hi Andrea,
Probably is one of the caching settings.
In my model I have 2 flash components and in Firefox I succeed into loading just one.
The other one remains with the flash loading bar without any progress.
I tried also Chrome but the behaviour is the same of IE(7)
I am now experiencing also effect of freeze in the model:
After deployment the model is drawn but no interaction with the system is possible. (the button can be pressed but no information is sent to VC-BW system).
This happens just with models with Flash component inside
Have you ever met such an issue?
Thank you
Cheers
Massimiliano

Hi Andrea,
I agree with you that the refreesh of the page is not the best but is enough to let us continue the development.
I am not sure what is the root cause of the issue: the fact that the symple refresh of the page fixes it make me think that the the sequence in which the components arrives to the browser is in some way involved (but it is pure hypotesis).
I am also thinking that the performance of SAP system are in some way involved: I had the possibility to check the Flash components only in a Development environment and I am not sure what will happen in a more production-live environment.
Did you tried with production environments? the issue is still there?
I am not sure but a good workaround could be to force automatically the refresh of the page, but I am not sure that can be performed (a timer perhaps, but I don't know how to launch a browser command).
Obsiously could be usefull to let SAP investigate, but please consider that if you open a note on VC you have to follow up the 1038511 to allow them access system.
Hope this help.
Cheers

Hi Andrea,
Just refresh the page from browser page (F5).
They start to work only when the input data and submit event are sent to them (so a submit button from table or the output of a BI query)

Hi All,
I found a solution for the issue simply refreshing the page from the browser.
At that point all the components got re-initialized and they works properly, in input, output and event reacting behaviour.
