Transfer same SIDs from SLD to TA SMSY

Former Member

Hi all,

we have problems to receive the system data from SLD in our Solution Manager -EHP1 ( TA smsy )

for same sids.

In case of cloning our sap systems we have the same sids, but on different hosts. We can see the sids

in SLD ( after registering in the different hosts via rz70 )

We receive the data from SLD via "Landscape Fetch" job in SMSY.

There exists an sap note ( #1301106), but we don't know where to find the conflict resolution wizard !?

Please advice.

Kind Regards

Andreas

Hallo Andreas,

you will find the Conflict resolution manager in the following way:

- logon to Solution Manger as SOLMAN_ADMIN user

- call transaction SOLMAN_SETUP

- Choose "konfiguration verwalteter System"

- Choose on the left side "konfliktlösung für technische System"

kind regards

We're on SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1 (SAPKB70211; SAPKITL707; = SPS7).

I can't find "conflict resolution wizard" at the described location.

Managed Systems Configuration => Related Links => no "conflict resolution wizard".

Was it removed or moved to another place?

Hi Julia,

the "conflict resolution wizard" calls the webdynpro application smsy_system_compare which is no longer available in solman 7.1 as of this release the SMSY construct is no longer of interest. Instead, the Landscape management database (LMDB) is primarily used to hold the system information. There is still a replication into SMSY, but you cannot maintain data there.

Browse the recent posts in this forum, you'll find lots of links for SLD and LMDB setup.

Within LMDB you have a verification check. Maybe this can help you further.

Hi,

please read this doc and see whether SLD is configured correctly
