Hello Vijay

Once you have downloaded the MDK Plugin, you will find two folders - One features and other a plugin. If you open the plugin folder you will inturn find 3 more folders

1. com.sap.ip.me.mdk.developmentTools

2. com.sap.ip.me.mdk.pios.docgen_1.1.0

3. com.sap.ip.me.mdk.pios.docgen_1.1.2

Copy these 3 folders into you Eclipse Plugin directory and restart Eclipse. Thats it!!! you should be able to use MDK now.

Happy Developing

Hi Vijay,

After you restart eslipse you would have a new perspective called MDK.

If you are not sure where it is

Window> Open Perspective >Other >MDK

Hi siva and Karthik.

I have already pasted these file.

I did as kartick said. I could not find the MDK perspective in eclipse-SDK-3.1.2-win32.

What to do next?

Hi Vijay

Its a bit strange. I am using the same combination and it workks perfectly fine. All that i would suggest is download the latest MDK form SAP and try it. But this is just a seculation that it might work. MDK was developed for the previous version of eclipse. But since ecliple is download comptabile it should ideally work. Worst case i suggest you to work with Eclipse 3.0.

hello guys,

im not updated with the latest version of MDK.

is there an MDK plugin for Eclipse 3.x platform? as i know

MDK is included with NWDS which is based on Eclipse 2.1.

the plugin interfaces for 2.1 and 3.x differs thus it might

not work in the 3.x platform.

i hope that im just missing something...

Hello Jo

To be best of my knowledge there is no MDK for Eclipse 3.X version. But having said that though the 2.1 and 3.x plugin interface differs, i do not face any problems in using MDK plugin in eclipse 3.1.
