Log configuration

Hi,

in the Visual Administrator I can configure the Log Configuration service (cluster -> server -> service) and define the Locations. When doing so, I can also activate / deactivate a property called "Write to database".

I'm wondering what this property does? When activated, will the log not only be written to the specified file but also to the database?

br,

Tobias

Hello Tobias,

The checkbox u201CWrite to databaseu201D specify should the changes that you make be saved to the database and preserved after you restart the system.

If the property is un-checked the changes that you make will be lost after restart.

Hi Ventsi,

thanks for the info.

Is there a way to write (selected) logs to the database?

Not even a hidden, (not so) secret workaround?
