Shipping Type in SO

Dear Experts,

While creating SO - shipment type is not capturing automatically in SO.

How does shipment type determines automatically.

You need to create the route determination procedure for the customer in order to specify the shipping type then only the shipping type can be determined automatically.

1.Path>IMG>Sales & Dsit> Logistics_General>Transportation-->Route Determination procedure.

With out creating the route determination for the particular customer there is no way that you are going to get the shipping type.

Shipping Type specifies : Rail/Air/Truck.
