Dear Forum Guru's,
I have been searching last 2 weeks for a solution to my print problem in our AS Java portal. I have doublechecked everything, I just did a complete reconfiguring of ADS, and communication from visual administrator to backend, and from backend to visual administrator works. SICF is ok, ADS_Agent is ok and ADSUser is ok.
I keep getting a dump in my abap backend system, and a pop up window with an error:
The following error text was processed in the system XX1 : Illegal access to a string (offset too large)
The error occurred on the application server XXXXXXX_XX1_01 and in the work process 0 .
The termination type was: RABAX_STATE
The ABAP call stack was:
Form: FORMAT_VALUE_DATE of program SAPLFPCOMP
Form: FORMAT_VALUE of program SAPLFPCOMP
Function: FPCOMP_WRITE_DATA_FIELD of program SAPLFPCOMP
Form: %OUTPUT of program /1BCDWB/SAPLSM00000002
Form: %NO44 of program /1BCDWB/SAPLSM00000002
Form: %NO43 of program /1BCDWB/SAPLSM00000002
Form: %NO42 of program /1BCDWB/SAPLSM00000002
Form: %NO41 of program /1BCDWB/SAPLSM00000002
Form: %NO40 of program /1BCDWB/SAPLSM00000002
Form: %NO39 of program /1BCDWB/SAPLSM00000002
Could someone shed some light on this please, it would be much appreciated. I'm running ECC 6.0 backend, and EP 7.0 on portal.
Thanks in advance for any help!

10 oss notes later i got the issue resolved. The fault was occuring whenever a user filled a blank date field with dots "......".
Kind regards,
Soren
