Hi

I am going through the [ASAP Methodology for Implementation 7.0|https://websmp103.sap-ag.de/sapidb/011000358700000088732010E/67E886DA727B4A69A541AE4D5256A1F8/Index.htm]. Under the accelerators of all the subtasks of [3.5.5 Solution Gaps and Core Enhancements|https://websmp103.sap-ag.de/sapidb/011000358700000088732010E/1F315560062842509749DDAE50344243/Index.htm] a [Functional Specification Template |https://websmp103.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000088732010E/Accelerators/Functional%20Specification_Template%20(WRICEF).docx] is provided as a zipped file. Can someone please explain how I can use the contents of this zip file?

Thanks

Hi Sallie,

we recommend you to extract the template from the roadmap ZIP file and load it to SAP Solution Manager as the functional specs template, assign it to your project as document standard and use it. You can read more about how to do that in the SAP Solution Manager help files referenced below:

[Solution Manager Help - Maintaining Document Types|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_smehp1/helpdata/en/b3/64c33af662c514e10000000a114084/frameset.htm]

Hi,

How I can get ASAP 7.0 in solution Manager?

Thanks

You need to apply latest Solution Manager stacks (today 24) so that you will be able to have it in the transaction RMMAIN. The component where the new roadmap is delivered is the ST-ICO. You need to ask your basis guy to update your SolMan.

Hi,

Few accelerators associated with ASAP Roadmap 7 were in Microsoft Office Open XML format i.e. the content is in XML files which are packaged in to a zip. In order to look in to the content, you need to open the zip file in concerned MS Office 2007 tool (Word or Powerpoint or Excel).

For example, in Word 2007, select "open" from menu and then select "All files" as file type. Navigate your zip file and open it.

Cheers,
