Alternative for account assignment cat F

Hi Experts

In standard system, the account assignment for general is configured as F.

I wish to use different account determination for project material and services.

Is it OK if i change this standard AAC 'F' with N or any customized one with dedicated account modifier? I am convinced but looking for experts comments.

I do not understand why the cat 'F' is given in stead of standard 'N'.

You can use AAC as N for the network if you are using the PS network and/or activities instead of F. N will be used for the Porject based network order. You can use AAC P if you want to macro level planning in project service order.

In the older versions F was available for all order categories mostly 20 (networks) and 30 (maintenance) - however in subsequent versions N was made available

There is no reason why you cannot configure your own
