WD Configurator issue

I'm trying to use the new Web Dynpro MDM components. I'm running CE 7.1 Ehp1 SP4 and MDM 7.1 SP4. I am following the docs here [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwmdm71/helpdata/en/4a/41a40c343f2ab1e10000000a42189c/frameset.htm]. When i try to run the configurator at /mdm/wdconfig i get an error saying "user not authorized". I am logging in with a user defined in CE UME, MDM UME and MDM. has anyone else run into this issue? Any ideas?

Hi,

Please can you give some more information like what Log on data you maintained in "Creating a Destination for the MDM Repository" Step and what is the user id and password for MDM user. these details will help to figure out problem.

Please can you check following and revert with the result:

1. To run the Configurator "MDM_WD_CONFIGURATOR" action needs to be assigned to the Portal Role. vross check if it is assigned.

2. Make sure you have provided correct Log-on Data while defining "Destination For MDM repository".
