Automatic restart of failed messages in SXMB_MONI

Dear Experts,

Environment SRM 7.0 ECC EP4. PI 7.1 PPS

We pushed a SRM Purchase Requisition from ECC to SRM via XI using the inbound/Outbound interfaces.

The xml message comes over to the SRM side and fails in SXMB_MONI with the status as Application error- manual restart

possible and the Error Id is Application_error.

When we manually restart the message, the message is processed successfully.

However, when scheduling the job RSXMB_Restart_messages to process the failed messages, the job runs, but the message is not getting picked up and processed. I see the ManRetCtr counter in the failed message incremented every time

the job is run, but failed message still sits in SXMB_Moni.

Please let me know if anyone came across this issue/ or any suggestions to push the message out automatically.

there are 2 options to restart from MONI here..

you can set the default retries ... as per...

Hi Venkat,

Thanks for your reply. The XML message is failing in the receiving side in SRM SXMB_Moni and not in XI. Scheduling the job Rsxmb_resart_messages in SRM is not picking up the errored xml message for processing.
