Do we need SAP MI?

Hello Experts,

We have a business requirement to write mobile apps for blackberry and/or iPhone.

The purpose of the application is to integrate with UWL and SRM. All we want to be able to do is implement a approval/reject workflow for our Travel Management System and Capital Approval System.

My question is, do we requre SAP Mobile Infrastructure to do this to integrate to SAP SRM?

Can we write the mobile apps to connect straight to SRM? What do we need to develop the apps, ie NWDS?

Any informaton to get us started will be very much appreciated.

Hello Pakal,

First of all you need to design you mobile scenario, it will be online (always connected scenario) or it will be offline (occasionally connected scenario).

I think that the best way to design your solution is with an online scenario, and for that you DON'T need a mobile server.
