SSO configuration for SAP Web dynpro

Former Member

Hi!

We would like to access a ABAP web dynpro application "sap/bc/webdynpro/medxsc" via https-call

https://server:HTTPS-Ports/sap/bc/webdynpro/medxsc/wd_xsc_occpl?I_MODE=ADMIN&SAP-CONFIG-MODE=X&I_STA...

http://server:HTTP-Port/irj/portal

By doing so we get the following warning

No switch to HTTPS occurred, so it is not secure to send a password

Logon Number ICF_SYSTEM_LOGIN006

When we go ahead with a valid ABAP user we get the following warnigs on the next screen:

SSO logon not possible; no logon ticket due to incorrect configuration

Choose "Log On" to continue. A dialog box appears in which you can enter your user and password

No switch to HTTPS occurred, so it is not secure to send a password

Questions:

How to set up the SSO-configuration for SAP web dynpro access in order to avoid these warnings/erros?

Thank you!

Hi,

Unfortunately, you need a SAP Netweaver Java system ( usually SAP Portal) for HTTP Windows SSO (IWA Integrated Windows authentication).

It is not possible (without a lot of specific development) if you have only an ABAP stack.
