Goodsissue against salesorder through FI/FO method

Hi

We have same material with differant batches ..

for ex: we have material 'A' batch no 0001 ..qty 100 pics

material 'A' batch no 0002 ..qty 100 pics

total 200 qty is there

we get sale oredr from customer 50 pics

when we create sale order .. enter materail ,qty and batch number .. for this batch namuber we have goto see the batch report

according to batch report .. find the which batch is oldest .. then come to sale order and enterd batch and qty ... this process is very time consuming to our users ... so cna have remedy for this one ..

can system automatically pick the batch qty qty in sale order ... accroding to batch manfacturing date ( oldest material )... based on FI/FO method...

or other wise at the time of sale order creation ... sysstem can show the material batch no and qty ..?

when am i click the F4 at batch no field in sale oder line item entry ..system shows only batch no ..does't show availble of material batch

can any one help me in this issue...pls..

Hi,

Here is no need to select batch manually in sales order or at delivery sytem will determine it automatically on bais of FIFO Method.

For this you have to carry out proper configuration for batch management,

In condition type for batch search you can maintain Sort sequence as FIFO

For this you have to create characteristic for FIFO or you have directly option for maintaining sort sequence in condition type itself ICON MAINTAIN,

Then you have to assign batch search procedure to Sales orgz. distribution channel,division

Logistic genral >>> Batch mgt. >>> Batch determination and batch check >>> Batch Search Procedure Allocation and Check Activation >>> Allocate SD Search Procedure/Activate Check

Then need to activate for

Automatic Batch Determination for Sales Order Items

Activate Automatic Batch Determination for Delivery Item Cat

Logistic genral >>> Batch mgt. >>> Batch determination and batch check >>> Activate Automatic Batch Determination in SD

Hi,

can we create batch search for every material in VCH1 ...? how this condition is maintaied for every batch...?

Create one table with field Plant, material group, which is mostly common, and assign it to access sequence,and assign this access sequence to search condition type

Now maintain condition record with key combination

Plant

Material group (for this you have to maintain material group in material master)

So system will search on the basis of this & you need not to create for each material.
