ITS mobile minimal setting

Dear All,

We are working with the following platoform.

SAP BASIS: 6.20

SUPPORT PACKAGE: 53

SAP RELASE: 4.70

This will remain the future platform. We are going to install the ITS mobile server.

Currently we do not have the ITS generator. I want to know if with ITS mobile installation (standalone ITS server) we will have the ITS generator functionality; otherwise how we can install the ITS generator (with some SAP NOTES), considering we will maintain the same support package.

Hi Edgar,

The link you enclosed is the one we were looking for. Our doubt is:

1) In case we do not ugrade the support package, do we miss some functionality?

2) Currently we do not have the ITS generator (the specific style editor for ITS mobile): do you think it is feasible to perform the screen conversion activity (ABAP to HTML) with a workaround (working in another system to produce the HTML and importing the HTLM file in our system)?

Hello Marco,

Please note that the minimum is Basis Support Package 55 with ITS 6.20 patch 27. So of course you will be missing all of the ITS Mobile features. I do not recommend creating the templates in a different system (presumably one that meets the minimum requirements) and then using it in this system.
