Vendors authentication

Hello all, I am working with SRM 5.0 and SUS.

I need to do a vendor authentication and I don´t know how can I start or exactly which components do I have to change.

Can you help me with a summary or some ideas to do this work?

Hi Rosa

When you say Vendor Authentication , do you mean to say , Vendor self registration and the susbsequent workflow

for approval by the Purchasing dept?

Hello, I am talking about a vendor authentication. I think is something similar to PAS process.

I need this:

I have a database (non SAP) where I have all certificates for all users that logon in SUS.

Each vendor has a certificate that is stored there (in the database)

I need to do a vendor authentication.

I know that certificate must be linked with vendors web browser. I don´t know how can I do this link in SAP?

I know that I can use program RSUSREXTID and table USREXTID.

Can you help me please?
