Hi.

we currently have EP6 with CMS,SLD and JDI.

we want to install XI and make it work also with SLD,CMS and JDI.

what should we do?

should we use the same SLD,CMS,JDI of our EP6 or should we install new SLD,CMS,JDI?

should we use the same SLD for DEV,QA,Production?

thanks.

motty.

You can use the same SLD for everything..!

But in a real scenario if you have lot of requirements coming in for development then if some one does any accidental action in dev SLD that might hamper your prod servers..

I would recommend one SLD for dev,QA and then PRD..!

Hello,

Hear you can find what is the best for the SLD installation :

https://websmp107.sap-ag.de/~sapdownload/011000358700003772322006E/SLD-Planning-Guide.pdf

You can find all you want on SLD in http://service.sap.com/sld in the media part.

I think you can re-use all your componants.

Regards,

Chris
