Channel Error: Error during update

Hi Experts,

I am getting error while monitoring the channels as ERROR DURING UPDATE. All the channels were in automatic control status since my sender system was not on so I tried to start and stop manually. Everything seems to be ok. But when I refreshed I found all the channels are having the above mentioned error. Please help me out.

Hi Raj,

While monitoring the channels in RWB I am able to see the ERROR as ERROR DURING UPDATE and nothing more. We tried to shutdown the system after that but its not happening that also.Its taking very long time.I felt as if the adapter engine got some issue while updating the status of channels. Please advice.

Hi,

Your assumption correct,its because of AE error or some error issue,may be basis people will help you on this.

i am not basis expert better to contact your basis team and post this message in SAP NetWeaver adminstartor forums,you mey get solution.

This problem is resolved by shutting down the system and again restarting up.But while shutting down it was taking a long time so we forcefully tried to stop it and due to which the oracle database had some updation issue and we got the error in RWB. Thanks for the responses.
