recieving insp qty

Hi, when we recieve 100 roh materials, say 60 are good and 40 are not ok during recieving inspection. system generated insp lot thru qa32. when results recording i could not find any field to enter good qty and bad qty.please advise how to enter these quantities. also advise in case of source insp, say 10 inspected there and we found 6 are good and 4 are not good. how to document the same thru results recording.

As per std SAP there cannot be the stock posting screen available for the Source Inspection.Also there is no provision for partail lot clearence.

Dear Sujit, so please advise how to handle incase in a insp lot some materials are good and some are bad. is ther any option in sap qm? also incase of source inspection, if we inspected 10, 6 are good and 4 are not ok,how to signify the same.

Unfortunetly there is no SAP note also which will provide such provision.This is Sts SAP either accept the whole lot or reject the whole Qty.

Hi,

You can partially reject & accept qty .

Create codes with partial valuation & assign this code to catlog .

If you use this you can partially accept or reject qty .

Hi,

It should not be done through Result recording....stock posting tab you will have in Usage Decision screen QA11 or click Create Usage decision from QA32 or right click on the left hand tab during result recording you will have option for Usage Decison, if the lot is stock relevant.

Is there not a stock posting tab on your inspection lot? Is this an 01 doen at foods receipt? Or is it an 01 source inspection lot?
