SAP Netweaver 7.1 Installation Error on XP Pro on phase 18

Hi Experts!!

I am trying to install SAP Netweaver 7.1 on XP professional , however

I am stuck in ABAP Import phase 18. Please assist. attached is the errors. Please help.

Have you checked that log? Please post it here as well.

Hi Anee,

The error log says "Database not running"

If the database is not running, then it will surely not import the data, right ?

Hi Anee,

On Windows, you can start your MaxDB database by running the Database Manager (Start->All Programs->MySQL MaxDB->Database Manager).

See the below link for basic installation and operations of MaxDB.

Once the database is up and running, Retry the installation.

Hi,

Got a R3load.exe error at phase 18 (Import ABAP) on installation of SAP NWANAP701 EHP1 (dev. ed.) on Win XP SP3, 2GB RAM. I am installing it on my USB ext. HDD mapped on my laptop. I have tried all options available on SDN but still not working yet.

The R3load.exe log is:

Hi,

I faced this problem when installing netweaver 7.1. I just re-installed XP, made all configs ms loopback, host file settings, java installation required version as per instruction....and restarted the installation.. Make sure you need not interrupt your laptop/pc when installing it.. It took very long time on phase 18 to import all abap jobs..

you need to wait till all the process is completed. If you have stopped your installation, your maxdb database might stopped.
