Can an ALV table have a master column

Hi,

I need to have a master column in the alv table so that i will be able to display rows in hierarchical format. please let me know if it is possible.

Hi Manas,

I have tried implementing it this way. This seems to have a limitation of showing data in the leaf node rows(un-expandable rows). My requirements need to show all the columns to be filled for all the rows(both expandable and non-expandable rows).

Yeah, even I tried implementing ALV with Hierarchy Columns, but it seems that with ALV you have certain restrictions.

For your specified requirement, I feel Table UI element with master column fits the purpose.
