Regarding Implicit Web Dynpro personalization

Hi,

I am trying to personalize the Address application.

When I press ctrl+right click I am getting the editing tool except the link "Edit Custom Extension fields" which I need to map the newly added field to node attribute.

Do I need to do any special settings or any special role is required for this?

Any help on this will highly appreciated,

Hi ,

No special setting and role is required for this because its a plug-in level development .

**Default context sensitive help has been configured in eclipse editor(NWDS is a wrapper over Eclipse, which is a set of plug-in, ) OK. If you want it for customize field you have to work on Plug-in level, then u have to integrate it inside NWDS then you have to define and explain the use case to SAP then they will further proceed it.

I dont think so it is required because we cant predict what a end user is going to define , A set is required to display it at user level.

Since JAVA API are alredy defined so its easy to document it in form of CONTEXT SENSITIVE HELP.
