Hi there,
Does anyone know if the Advanced Adapter Engine can be installed and run stand alone? i.e. without being connected to an integration engine?
Obviously this would be a Non-Central Advanced Adapter Engine. But does it have to be connected to an ABAP stack?
Thanks.
I do not understand the question exactly.
A non-central adapter engine is a Java installation only, but it has to be connected to the Integration Engine.
The User Management of the AAE is taken from ABAP stack of IE. The configuration is done in Integration Repository of the PI system.
