Hi all,
i tried to create an alert via Alert Configuration of Runtime Workbench.
When i tried to acces it appeared a web page with error 404 (Page not Found).
I applied a SAP note and i changed the value of httport in the parameter com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.httpport .
After a cache refresh and a restart of the system now when i try to access to Alert Configuration it prompt me a pop up asking for user and password, i filled with the usual PIRWBUSER (that is correct for every other functionality of RuntimeWorkbench) but the logon fail.
Some help?
Thanks in advance.

have you maintained Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) in the HOST file of your system as well as in the exchange profile parameters in RWB?

Abhishek.

Hi,
For Alert administration and configuration the correct roles are SAP_BC_ALM_ADMIN and SAP_BC_ALM_CUST.....Your User ID should have role SAP_BC_ALM_ALERT_USER.... This roles are the standard ALM roles as of WAS 6.40 for ALert Framework...
You need following roles :
SAP_ALM_ADMINISTRATOR --> Alert Management Administrator
SAP_ALM_CUSTOMIZER --> Alert Management: Role for Customizing
SAP_BC_ALM_ADMIN -->
SAP_BC_ALM_ALERT_USER --> ALM: Role for the alert user
SAP_BC_ALM_CUST
