Execute a transaction in EP

Hi,

I m new to EP.Soemone asked me like in SAP do we have transaction created in EP.

IF yes then how can we execute teh transaction.

Like in SAP we have SE91 where we creaet transaction adn execute those transactions similarly whetre can we create the transaction in EP and how do we execute them.

Hi Avinash,

You can't Create Transaction in EP but EP Allows us to create Trnx Iview. All that you can do is you can make the R/3 transaction display in EP.

Proceed the foll steps..

Login as Content Admin or ur EP usrid shd have Content Admn Role.

Content Admin -> Portal Content -> Migrated Content - > EP ver -> Iviews ( Rgt clk the Iview ->create New Iview -> Choose Trnx iview -> give available R/3 transx. )

After creating Clik the Preview bt and see ur R/3 object.

Later u hav to assign this iview into Page -> Workset and this workset has to be put inside the ROLE.

Hi Avinash,

First you have to create that r/3 system in sld of portal. This is done in system admin. Then create sap transaction iview from that system in content admin.
