Printing the same invoice using 2 device types HPLJ4 (PCL5) and I7SPOST (postscript) results in two documents that look different from each other. This is not surprising as PCL6 and PS are two different languages / formats. But our situation is that we have always used HPLJ4 (PCL5) for invoices, sales statements, etc. Now we are about to outsource the printing activity to a vendor who recommends the print files be sent in PS format. But if we use a PS driver, the output does not retain its current look. Could someone advise if there is an easy fix to this problem i.e. how to generate the same look & feel from a PS driver without having to change the ABAP scripts & smartforms?
