Hi,

in this thread:

i answered this:

Hi,

maybe this can help

http://www.abapninja.org/points?q=va01

Best regards.

next my answer was deleted and i received an email.

In the same thread someone has used the same link and this answer remains.

Why?

shouldn´t the same rules apply in the same way to all indiduals?

i do not want the remaining anwer to be deleted.

Far from that.

Just want to say that i do not understand it.

Regards

Hi Pablo

It looks like the other one has gone as well. The reason your post was rejected was presumably because it contained just a link. As moderators we discourage this practice, because

1. Often the link is the first hit on a keyword search and is irrevelant.

2. If a simple link gives an answer, then presumably the original poster could have found it by searching themselves

In either case, it adds no or little value. If there's a little text, like Krupaji's comment further down, then that's about borderline ok. Links should ideally be to support what's been said, not to replace it.

As ever with moderation, it's a judgement call. As far as being singled out - well, really, you're not. It's simply that given the volume of posts, we can only ever hope to check a small handful. You got "caught". If you do see others posting just links, then please hit the abuse button.

I hope that clarifies for you.
