We had this problem while importing SAP_AP 700 package 17. Reviewed the note which keeps getting referenced, 1074030, but, it didn't seem to obviously fit our situation. Our R3Trans and TP were relatively new (Dec 15th 2009). Decided to update both of those to the latest levels and it solved our problem.

Hello all,

the cause of this problem is now clarified.

In this case the reason for the "duplicate record" on the tables DD02T and DD04T was a modified - damaged - japanese codepage 8000.

Note 1074030 was extended accordingly by a new section 5.g.. This new section describes how R3trans can be forced to use its own internal codepage for conversion instead of using the damaged one from the system.

Hi,

It may be case where your using older version tp/R3trans and parallel import is done, due to which different patches are trying to update the same table.

Try to update your tp/r3trans and retry the import.

some time you can retry import without the updating tp/r3trans. I done same when i got error, But these error may repeat serval times where we need to retry import every time.
