Import IDOC into XI fails - unable to read segments

Hi,

Trying to import IDOC WMMBXY.WMMBID01 from an SRM 4.00 system

All segments on this IDOC are released.

However when I try to import I get this error :

+ Error: IDoc type WMMBID01 contains errors (unable to read segments)

Import failed with 1 error

Have tried other IDOCs from the same SRM system and these work fine with the same user id etc.

Any ideas why this is not working ?

Hi Michal,

Other IDOC types from the same SRM system import ok without being in IDX2.

Even so, i have tried getting it into IDX2 and this comes up with a message "I:000" with no description.

So I am still with the same issue - namely the IDOC I need to import comes up with "Unable to read segments" even though they are released and defined in SRM.

Any further ideas ?

Hi,

Can you delete the IDX2 entry for this specific idoc and import once again.

Check the Roles etc for your user Id.

does this Idoc have any non-permitted java characters(like "-" etc) in its segment/field names...

There is one field PS_PSP_PNR (underscore)

Is "underscore" a non-permitted character ?

The IDOC is released but has not been generated.
