Source Inspection

Hello Experts

I have a requirement for purchased materials that all the inspection is performed before Goods receipt and COA is also verified before GR. So the truck is only allowed to enter the receiving dock when it is good and no issues.

I understand it can be done using source inspection.

I will appreciate if you could explain me detailed steps.?

My specific questions are:

1. When creating inspection plan , what should be the usage for inspection plan

2. How the inspection lot is created and what TX is used

Inspection plan is with usage 5 only

2. How the inspection lot is created and what TX is used

When PO is created you can go to QI07 & create lot

for details
